UKRI future makers episode 1 and 2

This four-part series was produced for YouTube and social media to highlight UKRI-funded researchers and innovators working on ideas with the potential to genuinely improve everyday life, focusing on real people, real stories, and real impact.

I worked on Episode 1 and most of Episode 4 and it was a genuinely enjoyable project to be part of.

A real highlight of filming was seeing how this research translates beyond the lab and into meaningful, real-world outcomes. Meeting the people affected by these innovations, alongside the researchers bringing them to life, helped showcase the dedication and creativity involved in developing these technologies that are designed to improve people’s lives.

It was a rewarding experience to help tell stories that demonstrate how thoughtful research and innovation can lead to positive, lasting impact.
